Greetings comrades.
As comrade Aleksej pointed out in his application, we need a Secretary-General. I first thought he should get the position since he seems to be the only one who wants the position, but since this is the USSC, we should at least run through some basics. Does anyone but Aleksej want the position of Secretary-General of the USSC?
Yours,
Comrade Vladimir.
PS A Reminder of the position:

Indeed he would. I can't become S-G, neither can the V-P, and comrade Radim has stated he doesn't want the position. Thus it is only sense that Aleksej gets the position. I hereby delcare that Aleksej Vantrisky Takushimov is the new Secretary-General of the USSC. He is now part of the Elected Soviet Council. We really should ge started on how often we are elected...

All members of the Government may be voted out of power, this is a Democracy Xenofontov, that is the very essence of Socialist Government.
Democracy is very usefull in that it always keeps people in office that are popular, and gets rid of those who are not. This usually comes about through the lack of good policies with other nations, or within the nation itself. and increases pressure to the politicians to do a good job.
You can be voted out of office, and depending on the laws in the State, you might only serve a limited number of terms. Although this is extremely rare in Micronationalism.
If you wish to retain your position merely do a good job, and ensure that you are doing what the USSC wants you to do.

I can't believe I haven't addressed this sooner! I echo St Fenix's comments. Considering we are growing, the time to sort out election times and procedures should be soon. Back when it was only me and Xenofontov, there was no need. But now we are getting bigger, with 4 active citizens! I’m so glad we have progressed this far. When I get back we should get to work on that…

Elections is deffinetly by far one of the hardest things to regulate in any Socialist nation.
And should a nation be able to get past a succesfull election, then it is truly a sign of a Nation's ability to endure and to show its ability to be a succesfull nation.
voting procedures currently constitute by far the largest amendment to our constitution, being bigger then all the others combined as far as I know. I would have to say that it is indeed a very important part of a nation, and the regulation of it is a very difficult process.
As always I do reccomend looking around the Micronational world for answers to these questions, it is this way that you will get a good idea on what needs to be contained in such a law.

... communism is extreme socialism. So yes, we MIGHT just need a bit of socialism. And we're not communist, we're a Communist-Democracy.
