The old revolutionary party has been democratically elected.
Or at least it looks like they have a majority.

Good luck to our socialist comrades over there in Nepal. I hear the new constitution that's to be drawn up will finally abolish the monarchy of Nepal.

yea, this has taken a long while to form but hopefully it can only mean good things from now on, that’s of course if the USA and other imperialists don’t try and remove the democratically elected leader like they tried to do to Chavez and countless other socialists.

I find Capitalist Democracy very hypocritical, they say "WE want freedom of speech and the majority's decision" but when the majority's decision doesn't suit them, they try and assassinate them or invade.

I agree that monarchy can be bad when its total control, but I don't think that the monarchy in a country like England is bad, as it isn't exactly imperialist.

I hate our monarchy, because of it half of our Parliament is unelected and all the top officials who advice our PM are all put there by our Royals. I would say that Cuba is more democratic than us.

I don't think the royalty in the UK is particularly overbearing. It could be far worse, we might still have autocrats.

Yeah, they aren't bad, but there is not enough anti-monarchism in the UK that's for sure.

You're right on that point. The current situation is bad, but it could be better. Thing is there are still plenty of monarchists in the UK, which is certainly contrary to progress in this area.

I don't really know what the royals do, I'm sure they do something, but I doubt it's something someone else can't do.
