The USSC Anthem has been decided upon and announced by the President. As you can see below, it is based on the 1944 version of the USSR Anthem. United Forever in Friendship and Labour, Our mighty Republics will ever endure. The Great Soviet Union will Live through the Ages. The Dream of a People their fortress secure.
Long Live our Soviet Motherland, Built by the People's mighty hand. Long Live our People, United and Free. Strong in our Friendship tried by fire. Long may our Crimson Flag Inspire, Shining in Glory for all Men to see.
Through Days dark and stormy where Great Alex Lead us Our Eyes saw the Bright Sun of Freedom above and Vlad'mir our Leader with Faith in the People, Inspired us to Build up the Land that we Love.
Long Live our Soviet Motherland, Built by the People's mighty hand. Long Live our People, United and Free. Strong in our Friendship tried by fire. Long may our Crimson Flag Inspire, Shining in Glory for all Men to see.
We fought for the Future, destroyed the invaders, and Brought to our Homeland the Laurels of Fame. Our Glory will live in the Memory of Nations and All Generations will Honour Her Name.
Long Live our Soviet Motherland, Built by the People's mighty hand. Long Live our People, United and Free. Strong in our Friendship tried by fire. Long may our Crimson Flag Inspire, Shining in Glory for all Men to see. The music is that of the 1944 USSR Anthem, which can be found (in Russian) at the bottom of the page on the forum front page.

I have to say Comrade that it is interesting that you bring this up. And it is also just as well to see that you have replaced Lenin and Stalin. I would reccomend however that you consider revamping the thrid stanza. after the Second Chorus. As it is a reference to the defeat of Nazi Germany by the Soviet Union. Unless of course you wish to conclude such a massive war in the history of Col? Besides that It is a good anthem, and I have copies of it being sung in Russian and English on my Computer, Heck I'm listening to them right now. It gets me into a Socialist mood. -St. Fenix

I know, the people that wrote it really were quite good at stirring up those Socialist urges within every worker. The great war was part of the History of Col, which is part factual, part fictional. The Bundesrepublik of Beloprussia attacked Col, which was at the time called the FCE - Federal Colish Empire. It had unified with the Ertian Republic to stand up to the steadily growing power of Beloprussia, which was orignally a very fascist, imperialist nation, led by Kaiser Rudolf. The Great Colish War began, during which the somewhat oppressive King of Col was overthrown by Alex, later President of the USSC. The Beloprussians took many of the cities of Col during the revolution period, but the recently-born Soviet Union pushed back the invaders and actually got through to most of the Western Beloprussian territories. The defeated Kaiser Rudolf made peace with the USSC, and Beloprussia unified with Col, making the Col we all love and know today. Later, when the Benkern Administration began, the Colony of Xephkilon was willingly offered to Col by the Canstonotic Empire, and our current provinces were complete.

ah, now it makes sense, and makes the anthem very fitting to Col. Not to mention the name substitutions fit very well. If you would like I could find the sheet music to the song itself, so that you may be able to use it whenever people wish to try to play your anthem. -St. Fenix
