The Sashaburg Space Center, while still under construction, has been able to used the paved runway and assembled basic launch facility to begin testing rockets. The first USSC rocket, this 20 kiloton ICBM (a little stronger than the Hiroshima bomb), was launched from the center to a target in the Zolota Ocean where it detonated against a practice target. Nuclear explosives were not used and instead the rocket was armed with a small amount of dynamite to simply test the rocket itself, not the destructive power. The test flight was a success and the rocket hit the target as anticipated. We now hope to test more and larger rockets at the SSC, as the facility is completed to allow for their launch, and eventually get the space program off the ground.

This is great news, comrade. I'm ever impressed with your committment to both the USSC and more specifically this project. Great work.
